Not a day goes by when Isaac doesn't put some time in practicing his dance moves...

Train Up a Child...
Isaac actually gets a little put out when I don't invite him to help me with the laundry. He gets a kick out of it ... and who am I to dissuade my little one from doing some housework?
Start 'em young, I say. It's a perk at this point...

Happy Easter!
Isaiah 53:3-6
"He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
"Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
"Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
"But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
"We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all."
Luke 24:1-7
"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'"
What a wonderful day! Jesus Christ is risen! In Him we have love, peace, hope, and salvation!

Angels and Angels
The end of baseball Spring Training seems to catch us by surprise every single year. All of the sudden, it's the end of March, and we realize, "Hey, we wanted to go to a game!"
We are really Mariner fans, but we got free tickets to the Angels game...
... right behind home plate! So we just couldn't pass that up.
Todd & Mindy joined us for the fun. It was fun to get out without the kiddos screaming in our ears and begging for our attention. Haha. (You should have seen the four of us at dinner the night before; it was like popcorn the way we were all hopping up every five minutes to tend to the kids).
